The Experts (originally: The Experts at Walking and Standing Still) is one of the first professional projects by lifetime musician and composer Jakub Gaudasinski. Inspired by the retro sound of early computers, The Experts' sound blends chip-tune melodies with classical instruments and modern production.

Jakub was born in Poland in the early 1980s and, from an early age, was trained as a classical cellist. However, his auditory palette was forged in the fires of computer programming, field recording, editing and resampling. His love of early computer video games and game systems, the demoscene and digital synthesis came togeather to form The Experts in all their 8-bit glory.
