Desa Systems is the primary solo studio project of Jakub Gaudasinski. Delving into ambient, experimental, breakbeat and electronic textures, the project was created largely from Jakub's sound sample library which consists mainly of found sounds and a large array of vocal and machine recordings.

Jakub was born in Poland in the early 1980s and, from an early age, was trained as a classical cellist. However, his auditory palette was forged in the fires of computer programming, field recording, editing and resampling. With the frequent use of all manner of human voice, esoteric instrumentation and emergent editing and sampling techniques, this was to be the base for what is now Desa Systems.
